After particular cards, not a lucky dip?

A box is 24 packs of fun and no guarantees. If you’re building a deck, the singles usually cost less than chasing them. Paste your list into Deck Check to price it from our shelf.

Which Riftbound box should I buy?

To play the current format

Open the newest sets. Radiance and Vendetta hold the cards people are building around right now, and their packs are the easiest to trade at locals.

To draft with friends

A box is 24 packs: enough for an eight-player draft at three packs each. From Legacy on, every pack has a Legend or Battlefield slot too.

To keep sealed

Out-of-print sets cost more over time: Origins already sells for about double an in-print box. Keep a sealed box in its shrink, out of the sun, with nothing heavy on top.

To chase one card

Don’t. The rarest printings have no published odds. Buy the single and know exactly what you’re getting.

Questions

Good to know

Is a booster box worth it, or should I just buy singles?

Buy a box for the fun of opening 24 packs, for a draft night, or to keep sealed. If you want particular cards for a deck, the singles nearly always cost less than chasing them in packs. Paste your list into Deck Check to see what it costs from our shelf.

What will I actually pull from a box?

Every box is 24 packs of 14 cards, and every pack has the same slots: commons, uncommons, at least two rares and a foil. The slot list is on each box page. The rarest printings (showcase, signature and overnumbered cards) have no published odds, so no box comes with a guaranteed hit.

Am I paying a fair price for a box?

In October 2026, Australian shops listed in-print Riftbound boxes at roughly $210 to $280. Out-of-print sets like Origins cost more because no new stock is being made. Every box page shows the price per pack so you can compare like for like.

Will my pre-order arrive on release day?

We post pre-orders as soon as our stock lands, which is usually release week. Distributors sometimes deliver late, so instead of promising a date we don’t control, we email your tracking number the day your box goes out.

Is the box factory sealed? Could it have been resealed?

Every box is sold in the publisher’s shrink wrap, exactly as it arrived. We never open, weigh or search boxes. If a box reaches you with torn or missing shrink, don’t open it: send us a photo and we’ll make it right.

Why is there a limit per order?

On hot releases we cap how many boxes one order can take, so more players get one at the shelf price. When there’s a limit, it shows under the button.

How are boxes posted?

Tracked, and free, because every box is over $75. You get the tracking number by email the day it ships.

Riftbound is the League of Legends trading card game from Riot Games. Card Critter is an Australian shop, so every box ships from here, priced in AUD with GST included.
