After $1 trainers, energy or bulk staples? Cards under $5 aren’t sold one at a time here, because the postage would cost more than the card. They come in our deck kits and bundles instead, with basics thrown in.

Questions
Good to know
Isn’t it cheaper to import from TCGplayer or Hareruya?
For one or two cards, rarely. TCGplayer Direct charges US$15.99 shipping to Australia plus GST and your card’s FX fee, and every card page shows that landed cost next to our price. For a big list of cheap cards, importing can win, and we’ll say so.
How do you set your prices? Are they fair?
We start from the overseas market price, convert it to AUD at the day’s rate, and price at or just under it. Each card page shows our price next to that market price and the cost of importing it yourself, so you can check us rather than eBay solds.
Is the card in the photo the one I’ll get?
Every single over $5 is scanned front and back. Listings marked “Our scan” show the exact copy you’ll receive. Where a listing still shows a reference image, that copy is scanned before it ships, and we’re happy to send you the photos first.
Is your near mint really near mint?
We grade every card NM, LP, MP, HP or DMG using our published grading guide, and the grade is on every listing. If a card arrives below the grade we listed, we refund it.
How much is postage if I only want a couple of cards?
$2.50 untracked letter post for a few singles under 5mm thick. Tracked is $9.95 and required on orders over $50, and orders over $75 ship tracked for free. Every card goes in a penny sleeve and toploader, never several cards jammed into one.
Why can’t I buy a $1 card on its own?
Postage and packing would cost more than the card, so cards under $5 aren’t listed one at a time. They come in our deck kits, upgrade packs and bundles, which keeps cheap cards cheap.
What if my order doesn’t arrive or something’s wrong?
Contact us and we’ll sort it out. A real person replies, not a form. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law apply to every order, and tracked postage is available on any order.
Card Critter sells MTG singles with the price method on show: every card page compares our AUD price with the US market and the cost of importing it yourself.
