How big a box?
Count sleeved cards. Double sleeving adds about a third to a deck’s thickness.
| Deck | Cards | Look for |
|---|---|---|
| Pokémon | 60 | Rated 80+ if double sleeved |
| MTG Commander | 100 | Rated 100+ double sleeved |
| MTG 60-card formats | 60 + 15 sideboard | Rated 80+ double sleeved |
| Riftbound | Main deck plus runes and battlefields | Rated 80+ double sleeved |
For Commander
What fits
A double-sleeved 100-card Commander deck needs a box rated 100 or more. Boxes with a window on top show off your commander.

Questions
Good to know
What size deck box do I need?
Count sleeved cards, not cards. A 60-card Pokémon deck in double sleeves wants a box rated for about 80; a 100-card Commander deck in double sleeves wants one rated for 100 or more.
Should I double sleeve my deck?
If the deck holds cards you care about, yes. Put each card in a perfect-fit inner sleeve upside down, then into a standard deck sleeve. Dust and spills stay out and the deck shuffles the same.
What do I need to track damage and life?
Pokémon uses damage counters, or small dice as counters, plus a coin for flips. MTG players track life with a spindown d20, a life counter or an app; Commander starts at 40 life.
